South Pond Farms Wedding Bethany Ontario

This South Pond Farms wedding in Bethany Ontario was a stunner. This venue is one of my absolute favourite local places to shoot a wedding. Rolling hills, a little red goat barn, a quiet forested pond and a huge beautifully decorated rustic barn with local food and drink, basically my dream location!

This is Sean and Darryl. Sean worked at a tea shop, Darryl worked in a video game shop up the street. They were both very shy, but a friend set them up and the rest was history. Their presence and their love is a very quiet and sweet one. Being around them was calm and lovely, I could not have asked for a more enjoyable day.

They also had the sweetest vows, they each wrote their own and I just have to include them.

Sean’s Vows

You are my best friend. We have always belonged to one another, today we get to declare it in front of everyone we love.

To paraphrase the famous romantic poet Peter Parker, “When I look into your eyes, and you’re looking back in mine, everything feels not quite normal. Because I feel stronger and weaker at the same time. I feel excited, and at the same time, terrified. The truth is I don’t know what I feel, except that I know the kind of person I want to be.”

You are my patience, my calm, my strength. You made a sad girl believe in love again, and helped her become a woman she wanted to be.

I promise to try and let you win at cards. I promise to show you every new yoga pose I learn and not get upset when you’re not “impressed enough”. I promise to go to every Marvel movie with you. I promise to always keep dancing in the pitch. I promise to listen. I promise to respect your opinions and your feelings. I promise to lend you the strength for all of your dreams. I promise to try. I promise to choose you every day, over and over. But most of all, I promise to love you- fiercely, freely, and forever.
