Farm family portrait session

I love doing farm family portrait sessions. It’s pretty cool having a space that I can call home that has the best backdrop ever. And also chickens make everything better no matter what! This adorable little family has been part of my life since Karolyn was pregnant with her first. She met me at my downtown studio with her dog and her belly and we got to know each other. Since then I have done her first newborn session, and at least one photoshoot a year since then. It’s so wonderful to see families grow and getting to document them over the years. Their oldest daughter Charlotte now gets excited before each shoot, she jumps out of the car when she sees me and yells “miss Ash! Im so excited for my photos”.

Kids are the best, and they make my job full of laughter and love that extends beyond just clients but makes it feel like I have family and friends for life.
