Intimate Wedding at The Story’s Building

Lauren and Chris’s intimate wedding at the Story’s building was no fuss, low key, so relaxed and just so darn enjoyable to shoot. They got ready at the beautiful Shangri La Hotel downtown Toronto, with their friends, and Chris’s kids. They had his kids as the wedding party, and it was so sweet. Seeing a new blended family always hits home for me, and definitely had me tearing up during the whole ceremony. The whole day, was so lovely. They did a first look in the hotel, then we just walked around for an hour on a crisp sunny day in the fall, and shot some casual portraits. They had a late ceremony that went right into food and dancing. I love that more and more weddings are going this way, small, casual and relaxed.

On a personal note, I am so looking forward to this next season right now, weddings are done, and I can start processing and sharing everything I experienced and shot this year. It has been a very full year, full of so much love and so many different and unique weddings!
