Millbrook Cathedral Wedding

Maria and Nathaniel had an absolutely beautiful Millbrook Cathedral wedding just this past summer. I had the pleasure of shooting their engagement session, as a well as a fun portrait session that took place on the day their wedding was supposed to take place before covid changed everything!

I am so happy that they finally got to tie the know and have the wedding of their dreams.

I asked them to share with me a brief story of how they met and a little about their love, why they chose me as their photographer. Here is what they wrote

Nathaniel and I met through mutual friends while studying at Trent University. We both liked each other but were both afraid to make the first move. A mutual friends between us found out that Nathaniel liked me, and then when she found out I also liked him she immediately meddled getting us together. Nathaniel has helped me grow into a better person each day. His personality and wisdom fill where I lack and even though we don’t agree on everything I love to talk to him. He and I have been through a lot, learned a lot and are completely different people from the day we met but we have grown so much together that I feel that he is my heart and that my heart is home when I am with him. We chose you Ash as our photographer because you are such a kind, real people person. You make us feel comfortable and feel like we are having fun throughout the process. Your photos are simply amazing. You have such talent at capturing the love that I feel between Nathaniel and I. Having worked with you I feel confident that our photos will be lovely and it gives me such ease knowing that on our wedding day (full of love and maybe a touch of stress!) that I can expect gorgeous photos to remember the day, my family and the celebration of Nathaniel and I’s love..
